Jess Jerde is a qualified lead teacher with experience working in schools, day cares, and throughout the community. She has a B.S. in education and is in the process of obtaining her teaching license in elementary education, kindergarten through sixth grade. She student-taught in a fourth grade and in a Kindergarten classroom. She also minored in early childhood and spent time with 1-year olds and completed a student teaching experience in a Pre-K classroom. She was a student-athlete in high school and throughout college and feels very strongly about the positive impact that role models can have on children in school and sports. Her favorite part of teaching is building relationships with students and helping them succeed. Jess moved back home to the Chaska area and hopes to teach abroad. In her spare time, she likes to read, stay involved with sports, and spend time with friends and family.
